Thanks

I'd like to thank the following people whose help has been very generous and gratefully received.

• Firstly I would like to thank Mrs Doreen Larder, widow of Harry for allowing me to have all Harry's old railway, and in particular Healey
Mills documents, maps, books etc. Best regards to Bronwyn and Kelvin. Harry Larder was one of the first to work in Healey Mills Yard,
and rose through the ranks to Assistant Yard Manager and latterly, Area Freight Assistant in the TOPS office. Harry was 'one of the
best' a thoroughly excellent railwayman who had a razor sharp knowledge with an equally razor sharp wit and sense of humour.
Thanks Harry.

• Thanks to David Hills in CA USA for the correspondence and assistance in getting me off the ground and allowing the info in my
Class 25 gallery to be re-produced. David's excellent encyclopedia on anything Sulzer is here. Looking forward to meeting you in June
at Loughborough David for a drink with the boys! Cheers.

• Thanks to my old mate Andy Garley for setting up the site name on the server and technical assistance in getting it up and running.
Is there anything that you cannot do? Cheers mate.

• Thanks to another old mate Sean Lever for your patience and encouragement. It must be bloody annoying going over the same old
questions. Thanks Sean.

• Thanks to Derek Coombs, David Burton and British Rail for giving a slip of lad of sixteen the chance of a lifetime to help work and
develop the TOPS system which, in the golden age that it was in the mid 70s, better than having a huge model railway layout. It was a
full sized REAL railway layout! Thanks guys.

• Thanks to Tim Farmer of preserved-diesels for his kind co-operation and understanding. Hope to meet up some time later this year.

• Thanks to drivers Paul Wraithmell and Philip Ibbotson for their kind contributions to the gallery.

• A very big thank you to railway photographer Terry Campbell for his 1960s shots of steam and early diesels. To see Terry's other
excellent photography go to his fotopic site by clicking here. Cheers Terry!

• MORE TO FOLLOW.
