31444 around the mid 80s ? This loco when new was numbered D5555 and became 31137. It evolved into 31444
after the fitting of ETH equipment. It was carrying the number 31544 after BR modified it in the early 90s with the
electric train supply isolated. This loco was withdrawn in December'95 at Crewe and cut up at Wigan in March 2001.
