(Theakston country) in the Yorkshire Dales approx 59 miles away from the railway yard in Ossett.

This site, I hope will have an interest to all railway minded people who have discovered these pages.

Hayley Mills

I am endeavouring to make these pages a largely historical view of how Healey Mills was brought into being, how it was operated, its
rise, demise and present state.

I worked there from 1975 - 1990 in the TOPS office and have many happy memories both from working there, or the social side.
Healey Mills was a very busy and interesting place to be in that period and we saw many changes, not least in the TOPS side, as TOPS
was continuously developing.

Please note: This site has been created as a personal view and from a railway historical viewpoint. It is not affiliated in any
way to any operating companies either past or present.

I am still working on producing pages as time permits and will continue to add or amend details or pages as I get info.
